About Mandy

"Yoga is the movement of the life current...into its inherent relationships, the body, the breath and perceptions, our experience.  To merge, to be with our experience rather than react to our experience , is yoga"       Mark Whitwell, Yoga of Heart

The seed of my yoga study and practice was set in 1998 when I picked up a book by Richard Hittleman whilst travelling overseas.

On return to the UK I found a teacher and my interest gradually led me to commence the three year British Wheel of Yoga training in 2005.  I have been teaching and studying since then and have studied with some of the world's most foremost teachers.  Those that have been the greatest influence on me are Shiva Rea (prana vinyasa flow training), Sarah Powers (yin yoga training) and Mark Whitwell (Yoga of Heart).

I have also undertaken additional pregnancy yoga teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli through the Life Centre in London.

In the summer of 2010 I completed a 200 hour vinyasa flow training with London-based teacher Claire Missingham.

I am very passionate about yoga and respect the ancient lineage through which these teachings have come to us.  As a yoga practitioner I believe it is important to remain open and inquistive and not become limited by a particular 'style'.  As a teacher, this means I am better able to adapt practices to suit individual needs.

Most of all, I would love you to find and practise your yoga so that it can enhance your life every day!

"Be the change you wish to see in the world"  Gandhi
